Winter Fest 2012 held at Dammam
My clay craft which is exhibited in Winter Fest 2012 held in Dammam. on 29 and 30 November.
This craft is wholly made of coloured clay.
“Floret Flower Farm”
A Hand Sculpted Clay Farm
The construction of this craft work consists
of air drying coloured clay. All the miniatures are clay bodies that have been
hand rolled out then hand built.
My craft is a slice of green that will make
you look forward to a traditional flower farm. This sweet little scene is
filled with creations great and small. The piece is smaller, more detailed, and
cuter in real-time than any picture can portray. Here I have included a farm
house, hen house, Sheep pen, waterfall, water well, palm trees, a tree with bird
nest, lotus pond, and off course different types of flowers.
I love flowers which inspired me to make such
a craft. The farm house makes us think of warm breezes and bright sunshine. The
flowers add to the feeling of warmth. I took a week time to roll out each leaf
and flower individually, which really adds to the detail of the farm.
