Onam celebraion
Even though in any part of the world, we are not ready to miss any Onam. I am a malayalee and Iam proud to be so. All malayalees are like me too. We were planning a week before to have a great onam celebration. At last we had a great Onam celebration.
We celebrated Onam in Prasad chettan’s house. We, Eapen uncle and Sosamma aunty, Rani chechy and Chinnu, then our host Prasad chettan, Bindhu chechy and Achumon , we all together enjoyed and had a great Onam. My little naughty Aaron also enjoyed with his friends.
There will be no onam without an Athapookkalam. So I made an Athapookkalam. Unfortunate thing is that it is difficult to get flowers in Saudi Arabia. But I managed the problem. I make an Athapookalam with crepe papers. The idea was successful.
We had a nice Sadhya too. All the credit goes to Prasad chettan and Bindhu chechy. An yummy sadhya withpappadam pazham payasam. Bindhu chechy once more proved that she is a good cook.
Naaranga achar
Onam will become celebration only when we celebrate together with our loved ones. Onam means sharing and caring. Then only Mahabeli lives in our minds.
